Shopping on-line
Our web site is designed to make it easy for you to find the right products, check that they suit your requirements, and provide us with all of the information we need to process and ship your order. You should receive an automatic email as soon as you confirm your order, and we may contact you further by phone or email if there are any queries.
Finding products
There are several ways to browse products, either by using the navigation menus down the left hand side of the page or by using the search box located in the top right hand corner of the page. To add a product to your order, simply click on the 'Buy' button. You may wish to review the product status information to check the product's availability, or contact us for accurate and up-to-date stock information.
Multi-currency operation
We offer multi-currency pricing and ordering in US Dollars, Euros and British Pounds. This means that not only can you view our prices in your favoured currency, but when it comes to ordering and paying for your goods, we will use your chosen currency when charging your credit or debit card. Thus if you are based in the USA and place your order with USD selected, your card will be charged with the amount shown. You can change the currency at any time during your visit to our site, up to the point when you confirm the items in your order and click to checkout, and you can still go back and change it after that point if you wish, so long as you haven't clicked to confirm your payment. To change currencies, simply click on the link at the top of the page.
Quantity pricing
We offer competitive quantity pricing discounts on many product lines, and these are displayed on our web site and applied automatically to your order as it proceeds. You can review the items and prices in your order by clicking on the trolley link at the top of the page. You can change the quantity of a particular product ordered by entering the new quantity in the box provided and clicking on the 'Adjust' button on this page. If you require pricing for higher quantities, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

Payment options
You can pay for your order online using most credit or debit cards, via our secure payment processor. To ensure fast and successful processing of your payment, please make sure that you enter accurate information, including the billing address for the card if this is different from the delivery address. Your card will be charged in the currency that you chose when checking out - either Pounds, Euros or US$.
Alternatively, you can choose to pay by bank transfer, sometimes known as paying by pro-forma invoice. In this case we will send you an email after confirming your order, containing instructions for making the payment. Wherever possible, we will reserve your goods for 14 days and we will ship them as soon as we receive the funds in our bank. Please note that, when using this method of payment, it is important that you ensure that all associated bank charges are paid by you, since we are unable to release goods if charges are deducted from your payment, which sometimes happens on international bank transactions.

Shipping options
Service options
Depending on the weight and destination of an order, we will offer you our best available 'Delivered At Place' shipping rates. Where there are alternative services available, a choice will be shown. The shipping charge will reflect the costs to us, unless we are offering a free shipping promotion to your destination. In exceptional circumstances we may use alternative shipping services to those shown, to achieve the desired shipping times, but without increasing charges.
For very heavy orders the shipping charge may not be displayed automatically, and we will advise you of the charges after receiving your order.
You can also choose to use your own shipping company (such as FedEx or DHL) by providing your courier account information. We do not make any additional charge for this option, but we cannot guarantee to always be able to book a shipment onto your account.
Order processing and dispatch times
Subject to our shipment cut-off times below, we will make all reasonable efforts to process and dispatch your order either on the same day as it is received, or the next business day, as long as all items are in stock and our security checks have been completed successfully.
The cut-off time for same day shipments is normally 2pm GMT/BST to all destinations, except for Australia and New Zealand which is noon GMT/BST. These may be affected by local and international conditions outside of our control.
Transit times and tracking
This is the time required by the shipping company to get an order to its destination after it has been dispatched by us. You will be sent shipment tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
Note that transit times shown are the typical transit times for that service, and for some outlying and hard to reach locations actual times may be longer.
For UK Mainland and Isle of Wight deliveries Fedex provide a Next Business Day service to the area covered by Zone DA: https://www.fedex.com/images/emea/onlinetoolkit/UK-map.pdf ↗

VAT/tax/duty Information
VAT and duty Information
Value Added Sales Tax
Our business is based in the UK and we therefore comply with UK VAT requirements. Depending on the country to which we are delivering the goods, your order will be taxed as follows:
Orders delivered within the UK
We always charge VAT at the prevailing UK rate on your total order value. We provide a VAT receipt/invoice with your goods, which you can use to reclaim the VAT if appropriate.
Orders delivered within Europe
Following the UK's exit from the European Union, we no longer charge VAT on sales to Europe, and instead these transactions are zero rated and are treated as exports from the UK.
When you place your order with us, you will need to confirm your EORI number, if you have one, or your personal National ID number if not.
As the importer, you will have to pay VAT to the delivery courier at your local rate, plus any processing fees, unless you have made arrangements with your country's tax office to defer this VAT and report it on your VAT return instead. If you are an EU VAT-registered business you can reclaim the VAT in the same way as with any purchase within the EU.
Orders delivered outside Europe, including to the USA
We do not charge VAT or sales tax on your order, as it is treated as an export from the UK. Note that you may still have to pay import duty to your local customs office.
Customs duty
We have many years of experience shipping thousands of orders around the world and providing the necessary documentation to accompany international shipments.
For destinations outside the UK, shipments are subject to the usual international rules on customs duty. Depending on the destination, value, and type of products, you may have to pay import duty before being able to take delivery of an order. Note that this is an additional cost that you must bear as an importer. In some cases, our shipping company may pay these charges on your behalf. In this situation we reserve the right to charge any customs duties or local sales taxes incurred in this manner back to you.
Many of the items we sell are covered by free trade agreements, except for goods of Chinese origin entering the United States, however we cannot offer advice on individual tariffs or whether you will be liable in any instance.

Once you have received details of how to make a return, the return must be made within 14 days. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us, unless they arrived damaged, faulty or in error.
