The VTAP reader will extract and decrypt NFC pass data from Apple or Google Wallets, and forward this to a connected system. Designed to support smooth migration from plastic to mobile NFC passes, the VTAP reader will also read UIDs and data from MIFARE, DESFire and NTAG smartcards and tags.
VTAP readers can be used with loyalty and rewards programmes, memberships, turnstile systems, and electronic ticketing. VTAP100 and the more compact VTAP50 are both supplied as a PCB, for integration by OEM customers. The VTAP100 is also available enclosed in a desktop or wall-mounted case, and with support for a number of specialist interfaces, such as Wiegand.
