Read-a-Card provides the missing link between standard PC/SC contactless smartcard readers and existing software applications.
(Smartcard readers are not 'plug-n-play' in the same way that many common USB peripherals are - generally Windows / Linux / MacOS systems do not make smartcard information visible natively from PC/SC smartcard readers and their drivers).

Automate data capture, reformatting and output - via keyboard wedge, app-launch, or cloud or web services.

Works with all common RFID/NFC card/tag types, including MIFARE & Prox - reads standard chip CSN/UID, customer-specific card numbering formats, and securely encoded data on DESFire & iCLASS tags.

Compatible with virtually all PC/SC 2.01 standard readers and many more besides. Supports multiple readers simultaneously.
