The Digidown from Lisle Design is a convenient, portable unit for downloading data directly from a digital tachograph vehicle unit (VU). It is compatible with second generation (Gen2) digital tachograph units installed in vehicles from June 2019, as well as all previous vehicle units. It is also Smart2 ready.

This robust but lightweight device comes complete with the required VU cable connector, and is compatible with all makes of digital tachograph used within Europe. Included in the package is a 2Gb SD memory card, enough to hold many years' worth of VU data, and/or data from many vehicles.

The downloaded data can be transferred to a PC very easily using the supplied USB transfer cable, especially when used in conjuction with our Easytac downloader software solutions, which will automatically rename and store the files in an appropriate location.

Digidown devices download data from digital tachograph vehicle units (VUs) from all current tachograph manufacturers. Data downloaded from the tachograph is stored in a Secure Digital memory card, normally known as an SD card.

The Digidown devices allow three types of download:
ALL VU: This button downloads all of the contents of the VU.
LATEST VU: This button downloads the last 92 days of data from the VU whilst leaving out detailed speed data. This significantly reduces the download time from that of the "All VU" button.
CARD: This button downloads information from any Driver Card currently inserted into the VU.
